Sonuto 8-14P Waterproof Car Awning Sun Shelter
We recently took the Sonuto 8-14P Car Awning Tent out for a weekend beach trip to see how it performs as a primary shade structure. This expansive shelter aims to solve the problem of limited living space during group camping trips by attaching directly to your vehicle.
Performance & Build Quality
Constructed from 210D material, the tent feels surprisingly robust for its size and effectively sheds water during light rain. The windproof architecture holds its shape well under moderate gusts, and the integrated UV protection adds a necessary layer of comfort for long afternoons at the beach.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the awning is a straightforward process that becomes intuitive after the first attempt, making it easy to deploy at a moment's notice. The anti-mosquito netting is a game changer, allowing for breezy airflow without the nuisance of insects during evening meals.
This shelter is perfect for families or large camping groups who need a spacious, portable, and weather-resistant hub for their outdoor activities.
Final Thoughts
The Sonuto 8-14P earns its impressive 4.8/5 rating by delivering on its promises of durability and comfort. For $169, it is a highly recommended investment for anyone looking to expand their vehicle camping capabilities this year.
